EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A woman in still in the hospital after a violent dog attack on her own front porch; neighbors say it was her own dogs who did it.

14 News first reported the attack yesterday. It happened around 4:00 p.m. That’s when they heard screams for help, neighbors say, and what they saw when they raced outside was horrifying.

“She was laying on her porch with both them dogs attacking her. The black dog was biting all on her arm and stuff and and yank ‘em back and forth and then the brown dog that they had was going to bite towards her face,” Zachary Morell said.

35-year-old Grace Coffey lives on East Florida Street with her partner, who neighbors say wasn’t home at the time of the attack.
