BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - An annual ceremony on a bridge in Bangor took place Friday to honor those lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor.
84 years ago Sunday, more than 35-hundred American troops and civilians were killed or wounded after a surprise attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet in Hawaii.
Friday, the Bangor High School JROTC held the traditional ceremony on the pedestrian bridge dedicated to the only person in Bangor who died in the attacks on December 7th 1941... William C. Orr.
The JROTC also held a 21-gun salute and their traditional wreath laying ceremony.
