BALTIMORE, MD – Two men are recovering after being shot Thursday afternoon in a broad daylight incident on West Lombard Street that later led both victims to seek treatment at separate area hospitals.

Southwest District officers responded at approximately 4:35 p.m. on December 4 to reports of gunfire in the 1000 block of West Lombard Street. Moments later, police received notifications from two local hospitals that shooting victims had arrived seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

Officers spoke with a 23-year-old man who had been shot in the leg and was listed in stable condition. A second victim, 22 years old, suffered a gunshot wound to the hand and was also reported to be in stable condition. Investigators dete
