LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — The Kentucky Wildcats defeated the UCLA Bruins in four sets (30–28, 25–16, 28–30, 25–17) to advance to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats had another strong outing against the Bruins. They recorded 77 kills and 63 digs, compared to UCLA’s 63 kills and 52 digs. Brooklyn Deleye led Kentucky with 30 kills, while Eva Hudson added 27. Molly Tuozzo once again led the Wildcats in digs, finishing with 15 in the match.

Kentucky now advances to the regional semifinals next weekend. The Wildcats will face the winner of No. 4 Southern California and Cal Poly, who play at 10 p.m. Friday night.
