A man has been arrested in connection with a fire at a San Jose restaurant, according to the police department.

Police said officers responded to the 300 block of W. John Street earlier this week after a restaurant was set on fire.

The fire was extinguished before it spread, officials reported.

Police said the San Jose Fire Department arson investigators asked for support from the police department’s Real Time Intelligence Center. According to officials, the investigation led to the identification of the suspect, who was then arrested on Wednesday.

The police department has not revealed the name of the restaurant or the suspect’s identity.
