PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University's Head Football Coach, Jimmy Rogers, has been named the next head coach at Iowa State University.

WSU is now without an athletic director and head football coach heading into a bowl game and its first year in the new look Pac-12 Conference.

Iowa State made the official announcement on X.

Rogers was 6-6 in his one season at WSU following two seasons as the head coach at South Dakota State University, where he won an FCS national championship in 2023.

Following Matt Campbell's departure to Penn State, Iowa State moved quickly in hiring Rogers to fill Campbell's seat as head football coach.
