BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Tomorrow the 10th annual Millinocket Marathon and Half kick off at 10 a.m. and 10:10 a.m.
So far, 3,200 people have signed up to make the 26-mile trek despite the cold temperatures.
The marathon, started by professional runner Gary Allen back in 2015, serves as a yearly opportunity to boost local businesses and the bring the running community together.
Many people are traveling from all over the country, and some people are coming to participate in more ways than just running.
Kathy Usher has been coming every year since the marathon’s beginning to support the runners.
