Caltrans urged drivers to use caution in the work zone and follow posted speed limits
Caltrans plans an overnight lane reduction on a stretch of Pacific Coast Highway near Corral Canyon Road on Sunday, Dec. 7, as crews conduct drainage and pavement work.
The highway will be limited to one lane in each direction from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to the agency. Residents and nearby businesses should expect construction-related noise, vibrations and dust during the operation. If crews are unable to finish the work Sunday, the closure may extend into Monday night, Dec. 8.
Security Paving Corporation is handling the project.
Caltrans urged drivers to use caution in the work zone and follow posted speed limits. Real-time closure information is available through Caltrans QuickMap.
