The incident has led to the closure of Summer Lane, with police cordoning off the area between New John Street West and New Summer Street. West Midlands Police are currently conducting enquiries at the scene. The crash, which occurred near industrial units and car-related workshops, has resulted in the Lamborghini sustaining extensive damage. Eyewitnesses report that at least one wheel from the vehicle appears to have been knocked out of position, and airbags in both the Lamborghini and a Skoda involved in the collision were deployed, indicating a high-impact crash. The Skoda also shows significant front-end damage and is positioned against a wall at the corner of Summer Lane and Lower Tower Street. Debris is scattered across the road, and 30mph speed signs are visible in the vicinity of the crash site. Motorists have been advised to avoid the area and to expect delays as police continue their investigations.
