Two Monmouth County lottery players won $1 million and $2.85 million in separate drawings on Friday, Dec. 5, officials said.
A Cash 4 Life ticket sold in the Adelphia section of Howell matched all five numbers to win the game’s second-tier $1 million prize, according to the New Jersey Lottery. The winning numbers were 34, 44, 50, 51 and 58. The Cash Ball was 01. The ticket was purchased at Country Farm, 3335 Adelphia and Wycoff Road.
The payout marks the sixth million-dollar Cash 4 Life prize of 2025. In May, a Union County player won the top prize by matching all five balls and the Cash Ball and accepting the $7 million cash value, officials said.
Cash 4 Life offers two jackpot prizes for a $2 ticket. The top prize is $1,000 a day for life, with a current cash value of $7 million, and the second prize is $1,000 a week for life, with a cash value of $1 million. Drawings are held daily at about 9 p.m., officials said.
Also on Friday, a Jersey Cash 5 player in the Belford section of Middletown won $2,849,336 by matching all five balls. The winning numbers were 10, 17, 33, 38 and 43. The Bullseye was 33 and the XTRA was 02. The winning ticket was sold at One Stop Food Store, 804 Main St. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Friday’s payout marks Jersey Cash 5’s 60th jackpot of 2025 and the game’s highest individual prize of the year. The jackpot reached a record $3.8 million on Oct. 7 when two players split the prize, officials said.
In addition to the jackpot win, 68 players matched four out of five balls and the Bullseye to win $500 each. Among them, 17 players won an extra $500 by matching the XTRA. The jackpot has since reset to $150,000 for Saturday night’s drawing, officials said.
