JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A federal grand jury has indicted a Jamestown man on charges including attempted sex trafficking, sex trafficking, kidnapping, aiding and abetting, distributing fentanyl and maintaining a drug-involved premises, U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Friday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti said the indictment accuses Edward E. Leeper Jr., AKA Edward E. Barnes Jr., 47, of sex trafficking or attempting to sex traffic, and kidnapping eight victims between 2019 and 2024, using force and threats of force.
Prosecutors allege Leeper used a Broadhead Avenue residence for drug trafficking involving fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Leeper is also charged in a separate federal narcotics case
