YORK COUNTY, Va. — York County Fire and Life Safety responded to a garage fire in northern York County early Saturday morning.

The fire happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Skimino Road. When crews arrived, they found a detached garage fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and the adjacent home was not damaged.

No one was injured or displaced by the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
