The measles outbreak in Upstate South Carolina continues to spread.
The state’s Department of Public Health is reporting eight new cases. That brings the statewide total to 87.
Officials say many of those cases were caught on school campuses. More than 280 people are being quarantined in the Upstate.
Health experts say the best way to prevent measles is to get vaccinated.
