Coventry City suffered their second defeat of the season to dent a five game winning Championship run, beaten 3-0 at Ipswich Town.
The Sky Blues had three glorious chances to score in the first half at Portman Road where goalkeeper Christian Walton made three good saves over the course of the game. But goals either side of the break saw Frank Lampard’s men suffer their second loss away from home.
Josh Eccles and Ephron Mason-Clark were both denied by impressive saves from the keeper while Kaine Kesler-Hayden had a glorious headed opportunity as Coventry had the better chances in the opening 45.
