Police are investigating a shooting in Medford, Massachusetts, on Friday night.

Medord police said they responded to the area of Mary and Stevens streets on Friday night after multiple callers reported hearing gunshots. Security footage from a nearby home also captured the sound of shots being fired.

While officers were canvassing the neighborhood, Medford police were notified that a person had arrived at Providence Medford Medical Center's emergency room with a gunshot wound to to abdomen. Officers contacted the victim at the hospital and learned the injuries were not life threatening.

Police said the victim was only partially cooperative with the investigation.
