WALLKILL, N.Y. — Kingston High’s boys wrestling team suffered a 52-29 non-league loss to Wallkill in its season opener on Friday, Dec. 5.

Scoring points for the Tigers (0-1) were Micah Brown (pin at 118 pounds), Julian Alarcon (forfeit at 126), Cruz Geuss (15-0 technical fall at 144), Grey Boyd (pin at 150) and Justin Cabrera (pin at 165).

Kingston High coach Mike Colon said his team wrestled hard.

“For how inexperienced this team is, they still battled tough,” Colon said. “We are going to learn from this and just keep growing, evolving and getting better every day.”

Kingston will next travel to Beacon for a 6 p.m. dual meet on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
