A man was loaded into an ambulance after a SWAT team closed a Harrisburg neighborhood for over two hours Saturday.
The incident started around 10:30 a.m. at an address on the 1800 block of Market Street. Police in the area closed parts of 18th, 19th, and Zarker streets.
A police source told PennLive a person was barricaded in a home on the block.
Several armed officers in uniform and camouflage, along with at least one police dog and drone, were seen in the area.
Around 12:15 p.m., an officer was seen grabbing a riot shield from a cruiser. Minutes later, a SWAT truck parked in the middle of Market Street, and armed officers approached the front door of a home.
Around 12:40 p.m., the SWAT truck made room for an ambulance to park in front of the home.
