A transit customer and a TTC employee are facing charges after police say two people stabbed each other following an argument at Dundas Station late last month.

Officers responded to a call for a stabbing at the downtown station, in the Yonge Street and Dundas Street East area, just after 1 p.m. on Nov. 26.

Toronto police alleged in a Saturday news release that a male customer and a female TTC employee engaged in a verbal fight near the TTC fare gates inside Dundas Station, which will be officially re-named TMU Station on Sunday .

The two people then assaulted each other and the TTC employee stabbed the customer with a knife, investigators said.

The two separated, but the customer later returned and stabbed the employee with a knife, police added.
