Mohamed Salah suggested he could leave Liverpool following AFCON after he was left out of Arne Slot ’s starting lineup for the third consecutive match, saying he feels he has been ‘thrown under the bus’ amid the club’s run of poor results.

Liverpool twice gave up the lead as they were held to a galling 3-3 draw by Leeds on Saturday night , leaving Slot’s side with just two wins in their last six matches.

Salah was not involved at Elland Road, with Dominik Szoboszlai preferred on the right flank.
