MCFARLAND, Wis. (WMTV) - Some very good boys and girls got their turn on Santa’s lap in McFarland on Saturday — and they had paws instead of boots.
As part of the “Winter Wonderland in the Village” event, McFarland Animal Hospital hosted an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., where pets could get holiday photos taken with Santa.
Owners lined up with their dogs for festive snapshots, complete with wagging tails and holiday smiles.
Donations from the photo sessions support Albert’s Dog Lounge , a rescue that brought some of its adoptable dogs to the clinic in hopes of finding them new homes. Organizers also set up a “Giving Tree” to collect items to help rescue pups through the winter.
Along with pet photos, visitors could enjoy treats for both humans and dogs, plus cozy carriage rides
