PHOENIX — Kiwanis Park in Tempe is set to undergo a series of renovations starting on Monday.
The project is expected to be completed by summer/fall 2026.
The renovations at the park located near Baseline Road and Mill Avenue are being funded via the Parks Capital Improvement Program, an initiative investing more than $60 million into Tempe’s parks over the next five years.
According to the City of Tempe, the following improvements are planned at Kiwanis Park: • Total renovation and expansion of the existing playground with all new equipment and accessible rubber surfacing • New large group ramada • Climbable public art sculpture by artist Bobby Zokaites • New shade structures • Additional new trees and landscape • Irrigation upgrades • New restroom and concession building
