Sarah Ferguson is alleged to have stayed at properties linked to Jeffrey Epstein several years when she publicly stated she had cut all ties with the convicted paedophile. The Duchess of York had announced she ended all contact with the sex offender in 2011.

However, a leaked email that was sent in the months after the denouncement has since surfaced showing her apparently apologising to Epstein and describing him as a "steadfast" friend. She maintains the message was sent under duress.
