Another good idea falls victim to a myopic presidency (The Republican Editorials)

Presuming the Trump administration thinks before doing, here’s how we imagine the debate went when the question of continued federal support arose for a breakthrough Holyoke project .

“Next up, Sublime Systems.”

“What do they do?”

“It seems they produce concrete in a new way, without releasing carbon dioxide.”

“Haha. Boss won’t like that.”

“Apparently this process actually works.” (Papers rustle.)

“Next!”

In May, the Department of Energy scrapped $3.7 billion in grants to two dozen projects across the U.S., including su
