The body of a 24-year-old man was found on a slip road after police received reports of the man in distress on an M4 footbridge nearby. The motorway was closed near Bridgend on Saturday, December 6 as emergency services attended the scene with ambulance unsuccessfully attempting resuscitation.

South Wales Police received reports of a man in distress on the M4 footbridge near Junction 36 shortly before 9:30pm on Saturday. Upon officers arrival the body of the 24-year-old was located on the slip road nearby.
