It’s been a while since we’ve seen a start to December like this! The first week of December is the coldest start to the month in 20 years. It’s also the most snowpack we’ve had for the first week of December since 1991!
While we haven’t necessarily had an incredible amount of snowfall, it’s been adding up and sticking around because of the well below normal temperatures. The one exception is the northwest corner of the state, which has had very little snowfall so far.
