GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A man is facing charges in Greenville after warrants show he attempted to rob someone.

20-year-old Zavion Smallwood was arrested Saturday for robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault by pointing a gun.

Warrants obtained by WITN show Smallwood took over $100 from a person by pointing a pistol at them and threatening them.

The Washington man is in the Pitt County Detention Center under no bond and is set to be in court on Monday.
