Night-time closures on a Derbyshire road are due to take place in the run-up to Christmas.

Local residents, businesses and motorists are being advised by Derbyshire County Council about several safety measures affecting traffic on the A5012 Via Gellia, near Cromford, which include:

December 8 – night-time road closure from Grangemill to Newhaven from 10pm-5am to allow Network Rail to carry out tree removal works.

December 15-19 – night-time road closure from Grangemill to Newhaven from 7pm-6am for emergency tree removal works on behalf of the county council.
