LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Clarksville home caught on fire early Sunday morning.
Around 4:45 a.m., the Clarksville Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 400 block of Evergreen Drive. The call came in from Clarksville Police officers, who had driven by the home. The officers helped everyone inside the house evacuate safely.
When firefighters arrived they found an active fire and worked to bring the blaze under control. According to CFD, firefighters "operated in challenging conditions due to the fire's location."
As of this moment, a portion of Evergreen Drives remains temporarily blocked by a water supply line. Clarksville Fire Department urges people to avoid the area as fire personnel remain on scene for final operations and investigation.
