A 'topless' driver spotted behind the wheel of a bashed-up Skoda failed to provide a breath sample to police - and later claimed he was 'being set up'.

Staffordshire Police received several calls from concerned members of the public who had spotted Luke Hill driving aimlessly around Brindley Farm, Etruria, on September 9.

The 29-year-old, who was driving a damaged black Skoda, was apprehended by officer, but failed to cooperate.

However he later pleaded guilty to failing to provide a sample without a reasonable excuse, StokeonTrentLive reports.
