LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Light snow is coating parts of Kentucky this Monday morning - the third round of snow so far this winter weather season!
Most areas from the Bluegrass Region into eastern and far southeastern Kentucky can expect up to an inch of accumulation, while southern Kentucky sees more of a light mix early on. Temperatures are holding in the upper 20s to low 30s, but a brisk northwesterly wind will make it feel much colder through the day.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect and has been expanded slightly westward, now lasting through 1 PM EST. The advisory includes areas northeast of a line from Harlan to Estill County, covering the I-64 and Mountain Parkway corridors. It doesn’t include all counties in the Fayette County Metro Area, but folks should still remain c
