NAPOLEON, N.D. — The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials boy’s basketball team will be young, according to coach Logan Klitzke.
Klitzke, along with coaching the boys basketball program, teaches physical education in the Gackle-Streeter school district and was named the Logan County Teacher of the Year last spring.
Now he turns his attention to the basketball court.
“It will be a lot of freshmen,” he said, referring to the upcoming season. “We are hoping to build, but we will be playing fast with a lot of players getting into the games.”
The one senior anticipated to lead the team this year, Bill Schmitt, suffered a season-ending injury during the football campaign that just ended.
Klitzke said two juniors, Jackson Piatz and Brendan Zenker, are anticipated to be the upper-class presence
