A driver has been arrested on suspicion of being over the drink drive limit.

Members of the Haverhill police team stopped a vehicle at the weekend after it flagged up on a national computer as being uninsured.

During the stop, the driver was required to provide a breath sample and provided a reading of 90 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millitres of breath. The legal limit is legal limit is 35.

Police arrested the driver for both offences and took them to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.

The vehicle was also seized.

In a separate incident on Monday morning, officers found another vehicle to be uninsured.

Officers stopped the vehicle and the driver was found to be disqualified from driving.
