MACON, Ga. — A crash on Interstate 75 in Macon-Bibb closed all southbound lanes Monday morning, but lanes have since reopened, according to Georgia Department of Transportation's 511 website.

They say the crash happened at around 11 a.m.

The closure, which closed the interstate at the Riverside Drive exit accessing the Shoppes at River Crossing, has caused gridlock stretching all the way into Monroe County.

It's also causing spillover congestion on Bass Road as well.

According to GDOT's 511, lanes were apparently reopened as of 12:10 a.m.

Traffic data on the site, however, still shows lingering traffic back up stemming from the crash.
