A boy has admitted causing the death of a teenager in a hit-and-run in Staffordshire.
Alex Woodward crossing Dawlish Drive in Bentilee, at around 6.05pm, on October 17, when he was hit by a black BMW 1 Series that was overtaking another car at 'excessive speed'.
The 17-year-old was rushed to hospital but died the following morning.

The BMW driver failed to stop at the scene, but two days later, a 17-year-old handed himself in.
The teen, who cannot be named due to his age, admitted he was behind the wheel when the collision happened.
He also told officers that he didn't have a licence or insurance and that he hadn't known the speed limit on Dawlish Drive.
