A pile of rubbish dumped in a country lane contained a vital clue that helped Dudley Council issue a £300 fine.
Personal mail was found when the rubbish left in Foxcote Lane, Cradley, was riffled through.
It belonged to a woman from Cradley Heath, who has now payed the fixed penalty notice for the offence.

Dudley Council said there had been a 'real problem' with fly-tipping in that area, which was 'popular' with dog walkers and ramblers.
People have been warned any rubbish dumped will be sifted through to try and trace those responsible.
