Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) blasted some of his Republican colleagues for not offering any resistance to President Donald Trump’s agenda.

“You have a lot of intelligent, hardworking people who gave up a lot of things to be here in Congress, only to find out that all they get to do is come here and rubber stamp whatever Donald Trump wants, and that’s kind of humiliating” Massie told CNN’s Manu Raju on Thursday .

“Nobody wants to be a rubber stamp,” Massie continued. “You can get a monkey to do this job.”

Massie, a seven-term House Republican, has been one of Trump’s fiercest critics , breaking ranks with the GOP on several of the president’s key issues.
