A beloved sitcom star shockingly had some high praise for President Donald Trump.

Kelsey Grammer, iconic star of “Frasier” and “Cheers,” lauded Trump in an interview with Fox News ahead of the Kennedy Center Honors gala on Sunday, the New York Post reported.

“I think he’s extraordinary,” Grammer said of the president. “He’s one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had. Maybe the greatest. There are some things he still wants to get done, and I think that’s terrific, but there was a big hill to climb.”

Said Grammer, “And we were left with some very interesting things going on.”

In comments to fans that were posted in a video online, Grammer, who serves on the Kennedy Center Honors selection committee, said that Trump was “kicking ass” in his second term.
