A driver has been charged with impaired driving following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 11/17 in North Bay.

The North Bay Ontario Provincial Police, Emergency Medical Services, and Fire Services responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 11/17 in North Bay, near the intersection with Algonquin Avenue on Nov. 29 around 10:45 p.m.

The caller had reported a pickup truck had rolled into the ditch. Officers arrived on scene and determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to the North Bay Police Service for further testing.
