Landstown sophomore guard Damion Robinson averaged 25.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and two steals to help the top-ranked Eagles start the season 3-0 with victories over Cox, Tallwood and West Bladen (N.C.).
Second-ranked Hampton begins the season on Thursday against No. 6 Denbigh, which beat Phoebus and Bethel.
Third-ranked Nansemond River got upset by Lake Taylor thanks to Jamari Edwards’ game-winning free throw. The Titans, which jumped eight spots, also upset No. 8 Granby, which lost its first two games.
Princess Anne started 4-0 with wins over Indian River, Bayside, Kempsville and Manor.
Catholic won its first seven games in a row before losing to Episcopal, 74-48, on Saturday.
Peninsula Catholic is 6-0 for the first time in more than 20 years.
