A woman attempted to blackmail former Tottenham star Son Heung-min for the equivalent of £153,000 after sending him an ultrasound photo of a baby that she claimed belonged to him

A woman has been jailed for four years after blackmailing former Tottenham star Son Heung-min . The woman, who has only been identified as Yang, was charged with extorting 300million won (£153,000) after claiming to be pregnant with Son's child.

In 2024, Yang sent the now Los Angeles FC forward an ultrasound photo of a baby that she claimed was his, demanding the large sum of cash to stay quiet. She later conspired with a man, identified as Yong, in an effort to try and get more money from Son.
