A man who served prison time after pleading guilty to killing his father back in 2007 was arrested Sunday and charged with strangling his mother.

Ian Delmore, 40, of Nashua, is charged with one count of second-degree assault-domestic violence-strangulation and five counts of domestic violence-simple assault.

Nashua police said they arrested Delmore after responding to a report of a domestic dispute between Delmore and his mother. Delmore had reportedly been physically abusing his mother, and she said she was in fear for her safety.
