LINCOLN — After meeting in closed session for over 90 minutes Monday, the Nebraska Legislature’s Executive Board opted to delay a vote on how it will respond to groping allegations against State Sen. Dan McKeon of Amherst.

The Executive Board, which is in charge of handling disciplinary procedures within the Legislature, met at least once on Oct. 27 to discuss the same situation in another closed session, said State Sen. Ben Hansen of Blair, who chairs the group. They met a second time Monday but adjourned without reaching a resolution.

The Nebraska State Patrol cited McKeon for misdemeanor public indecency in late October after investigating an allegation by a legislative staffer attending an end-of-sess
