The UK is expected to be hit with a significant amount of snow, as the latest weather maps indicate that Britain is set to be battered by a "snow bomb". December has already proven to be quite a cold month for much of the UK, with temperatures dropping below freezing in some parts . The Met Office has predicted spells of rain throughout December, as parts of the country have experienced quite wet and blustery conditions so far.
However, the latest weather maps from a different forecaster, WXCharts, indicate that several towns and cities may be affected by snow in mid-to-late December as we approach Christmas. Snow stretches from towns such as Ullapool and Gairloch in Northern Scotland down to Loch Fyne, which is located just above Glasgow. Snow is expected to hit parts of the country
