EDON, Ohio — Law enforcement is looking for a man accused of fleeing the scene of a domestic dispute and hitting a sheriff's deputy Saturday evening in Williams County.
The Williams County Sheriff's Office posted a call to social media for any tips regarding the location of Zachary McCague. According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the village of Edon just after 7 p.m. Saturday.
McCague, described by the sheriff's office as the suspect, left in a black Dodge Journey before authorities arrived. A deputy attempted a traffic stop on McCague, but McCague led authorities on a pursuit. During the pursuit, McCague is accused of striking a marked deputy's cruiser with his vehicle, according to the sheriff's office.
