Pitt suffered its first personnel loss of the new offseason on Monday, as tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Jacob Bronowski accepted an offer to fill the special teams coordinator job for Alex Golesh’s new staff at Auburn, a source confirmed to the Post-Gazette.

Bronowski was part of a coaching staff overhaul initiated by Pat Narduzzi after the 2023 season. After he spent the 2021 season at Tennessee, where Golesh was the tight ends coach and eventually promoted to offensive coordinator, Bronowski accepted a special teams coordinator and defensive assistant role at Miami (OH) before joining the Panthers in 2024.
