TELFORD, Tenn. (WVLT) - JTEKT North American Corporation issued a WARN Notice to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development Thursday saying it intended to permanently close its plant located in Telford, TN.

The notice said the plant will begin closure “on or around April 30, 2026 continuing to August 31, 2026,” and it will affect 136 Tennessee employees.

“The Northeast Workforce Development Board’s rapid response team, employed by the First Tennessee Development District, has been notified to coordinate services with the employer and affected employees,” the WARN Notice said.
