LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Council approved the mayor's amended mid-year budget adjustments Thursday.
The $17 million will go to updating public safety equipment, supporting public spaces and creating affordable housing in Louisville, according to officials.
“Thanks to our responsible management of the city’s resources, we can make additional investments to improve public safety and quality of life in every corner of our community,” Mayor Craig Greenberg said. “I’m grateful for the work of my colleagues on Metro Council and throughout Louisville Metro Government to make this possible.”
