U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that U.S. airports will receive money to fund programs "to make the experience better in airports."
Addressing the press at Reagan National Airport on Monday, Duffy said "it might be 'I want to expand the play areas for kids, I want additional nursing pods for nursing mothers, maybe I want to work out area where people might get some blood flow and doing some pull ups or some step ups in the airport', but it could be any range of things."
Attending the press conference were content creators Paul Saladino and Isabel Brown who advocated respectively for workout spaces in terminals and better spaces for nursing mothers.
