BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed said he will return to the Aggie football team next season after helping facilitate an 11-1 season and a College Football Playoff berth.
Reed stated his intention to return, though he is NFL Draft eligible and the transfer portal is an option for every player, on Robert Griffin III’s podcast “Outta Pocket.”
“I’m coming back. I’ll be back,” he simply said.
The answer came right after Griffin and his wife, Grete, had a discussion with Reed on the realities of name, image and likeness compensation and the transfer portal. Grete asked Reed if he would consider a hypothetical $4 million offer from Miami and he said he would have to talk to his parents.
