A Frederick doctor will serve two and a half years in prison after he was sentenced on Monday for assaulting his patients.

Dr. Syed Haque was convicted in October as part of an Alford plea agreement in Frederick County Circuit Court for three separate cases, The Frederick News-Post previously reported. The plea agreement was agreed upon by the prosecutors, the defense, the court and the victims.
